John, don't know if you remember Louis Cain, he was Clint Cains son. Well he passed away on 5/05/08. We lived in the harbor from 1996-98, i worked at rosgoes grill, and we both were maintenance at dockside. From, Margaret (formerly Pirtle, but Louis and I were married one day before he passed away.) Yeah!!

Hi John, Have you read stuff by Richie Unterberger? He's written books and things on Beatles info. Check it out on Jango.com I think his info is somewhat bogus, but not sure. You'd know better. Hope ur doing well in Marathon.

Dear John,

My husband, Jerry, and I have been staying at the Sombrero Marina & Dockside Lounge for the last month and a half on our boat, Morning Star. We have listened to your band a couple of times and have enjoyed what we have heard very much. Since I love classical music, too, I have enjoyed listening to David Howell playing bits of it on the keyboards.

Sincerely,
Jeanne & Jerry Cilibraise

John,
My friend Laura and I totally enjoyed our nights out listening to you, Scott and Glenn at the Dockside this past Sept. Your rendition of the Gilligans Island tune totally cracked us up, and we appreciated you playing all our requests (it's nice to be there in the off season to get such attention!) We're wondering if you are working on those Maroon 5 songs yet.... ;o) Look forward to seeing you all again soon.

John Bartus is a great good-natured guy. Never forget one morning listening to the "On The Water" program in the Keys, John was commenting on how Jewfish get so huge they can no longer reproduce. One of the other announcers piped up: "That's getting a little too close to home, isn't it John?" Hilarious. Anyone else and the guy would have got a fat lip.

Just thinking about you (as the blizzard of '07 rages outside up here in NH), and the good times. You're such a talent, and I'm proud you call me "friend". Rick Davis and I are kickin' booty up here again - we're seriously looking into a Keys visit. You won't believe my gear (or my sounds) - lol. Still a Toy Junkie! Best to you, and Mr Howell.

Hi John
We had the pleasure of watching one of your shows at Banana Bay in June, my husband and I had just renewed our vows and you sang us a beautiful song. We bought 2 of your cd's and they get us through the long cold days of winter in England. We are returning to the keys in Feb 06 for a month and would love to catch another show but your site is not showing any future dates. If you have the time we would really appreciate some information. See you soon. Danny & Cathy

I like your new web site -- was thinking of you guys with the Wilma news, of course. Best wishes as always. You could always come back to SC -- yeah, right ... a cold day in ?
I'll have to look around later when I get a chance -- pretty busy today -- but looking forward to browsing it one of these days.

Hi John! My wife and I took in your shows at The Key Colony Inn back in 2002 and 2003 and missed you, unfortunately, in 2004. We'll be back in Marathon Sept. 23rd through Oct. 3. Do you have any dates that you'll be playing during that time? Just let me know when and where and we'll be there!
We love your music and play the heck out of your Keys Disease CD! It takes us to the Keys whenever we listen to it.
Take care,
Bob and Di Maxam (Indpls., IN)
